Printing on architectural concrete
Interior designers are constantly looking for new solutions that will make their designs even more original and innovative. This trend is, at the same time, a challenge for technologies, the development of which would make it possible to break the established approach to interior design. Guided by this thought, we proposed an innovative method of printing on architectural concrete. It is a material that is consistently gaining popularity in the area of designing both residential and commercial spaces.
But what is the originality of printing on concrete? Well, it is going beyond the sphere of two finishing materials, which so far have retained a kind of exclusivity for permanent overprinting. Here we mean glass and metal and perhaps, ceramics, to a lesser extent.
By printing on concrete surfaces, you have the option of creating a variety of patterns, opening up new possibilities for optical interior design. Significantly, the decorative printing of the panels does not affect the original diversified structure of the concrete surfaces, which determines their uniqueness and originality. At the same time, please note that nano-printing on concrete is characterised by durability and fastness to light . At the same time, this type of printing is protected by the use of standard concrete varnishes and impregnates. They make printing resistant to water and steam, as well as to detergents used for cleaning and maintenance of rooms.
Based on the nano-printing technique on architectural concrete, colour or black-and-white prints are possible. The target effect is to translate the expectations of the client, usually specified in agreement with the interior designer. Also the size of the plates and the printing itself are elements that are individually determined by a customer.
Let’s add that printing on concrete is an inspiring element in terms of design. Scale, durability, colour options or the ability to use a specific motif or photograph create a wide field for contemporary interior design. Only imagination is the limit…
